Foochowese Bible

Hi GnuDoyng ,

The following bibles were recently published:

現代客語譯本．漢羅對照硬面聖經 (published 2013)
現代臺語譯本．漢羅對照硬面聖經 (published 2021)

Both Bibles contain the Romanized text and Han Characters in parallel on each page.

Has there been any demand at all in Fuzhou/Mindong Region for a modern Foochowese/Mindong Bible (現代福州話(閩東語)譯本．漢羅對照硬面聖經) publication?

Do the churches in Fuzhou speak their sermons in Foochowese?
Or do they speak Mandarin sermons on the pulpit with Foochowese interpreters alongside them?
Or are the sermons only spoken in Mandarin?
If a modern Foochowese/Mindong Bible was published today, would there be any demand for it in Fuzhou? If so, how many Bibles do you think could be sold and distributed? --DaveZ123 (talk) 11:18, 27 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
